1. Google unveiled a ton of new hardware on its annual press event which is not received so much caring from people. The main part may be about may have been Google’s new Pixel phone with flagship-level specs and the launch of the Google Home device. Google also revealed its Google Assistant AI platform, the Chromecast Ultra, Google Wifi and a new very cozy-looking VR headset.

2. Samsung has agreed to acquire Viv, an AI and assistant system co-founded by Dag Kittlaus, Adam Cheyer and Chris Brigham — who created Siri, which was acquired by Apple in 2010. Viv will continue to operate as an independent company and will provide services to Samsung platforms. They are fun facts for Samsung this week.


3. It’s reported that Snap Inc., the now-parent company of Snapchat, is working on an IPO for as early as March 2017 that would value the company at $25 billion or higher.
